digital dropshipping; it sounds like spaceship lingo
I just stumbled upon something while mindlessly scrolling. So, digital dropshipping? I mean, at first, it sounded like some futuristic nonsense. What are we, characters in a sci-fi novel? The idea is basically like, you sell stuff that doesn’t even exist in the physical world. Sounds trippy, right?

Let’s talk about the so-called perks. Like, no inventory. Nada. Everything’s all digital, so you don’t have those boxes piled up from floor to ceiling. But if you think that makes it easy, think again. The struggle to find something people actually want—virtual or not—is reel. Imagine, you think you’re selling a killer e-book on, I don’t know, ‘Becoming A Millionaire By Next Tuesday,’ but everyone else does, too. Competition is more intense than trying to get a seat on the subway during rush hour.
Now, if you’re the savvy type who defies conventions and lives for this, kudos. People say start with a platform, find your niche. “Niche,” I feel like I’ve heard this term so much I’ve developed a mild twitch. But seriously, who has time for building an audience before knowing if anyone is even listening? Reminds me of screaming into the void.

The thought of dealing with customer requests about digital downloads baffles me, though. Like, can you imagine getting possibly angry reviews on stuff they can end up downloading a bajillion times until they’re satisfied? And meanwhile, you’re just there sipping on cold coffee, wondering where it all went wrong.
And then there’s pricing. How does one even put a price tag on bits and bytes? Arbitrary numbers—like when I randomly set my alarm at 6:53 AM because 7:00 sounded too mainstream. But people do it, somehow. And some even, miraculously, make money. Mixed feelings about that, too.
Also stumbled into a rabbit hole of cat memes while researching. It’s officially a thing now. Selling digital cat stickers or calendars or whatever. There’s a whole niche for every whim, it seems. Meanwhile, I’m sitting here staring at my laptop like, do I even really need to be doing this?
Anyway, maybe digital dropshipping is for those souls who dare to blend creativity with technology. Definitely not for the faint-hearted or anyone intent on remaining sane. My brain still aches (more coffee probably won’t help). Well, enough rambling. I’ll just leave that thought hanging here…
