So, I stumbled upon this ‘revolutionary’ invention called the portable pet water bottle. Oh, joy. A bottle with a built-in cup for dogs that somehow everyone thinks is the next sliced bread in the pet accessory world. Seriously? It’s a cup attached to a bottle. Mind-blowing innovation right here, folks. I can’t help but wonder if people realize dogs have been drinking from regular bowls just fine. But no, let’s shell out more money for an overly hyped bottle because—why not?

I mean, I get it, life is tough on a dog walk when Fido decides he’s thirsty, and you’ve got nothing but your bottled water that you barely want to share let alone pour for the dog to spill everywhere. So, here we are with this ‘solution.’ Pet owners must think they’ve struck gold when this thing goes viral on TikTok. Imagine the excitement, or something. And TikTok? Of course, because why wouldn’t we let an app dictate what useless junk we buy next?

The high impulse buy factor is code for, “Everyone buys before the regret sets in.” It’s cheap and easy to ship, so you can feel slightly less guilty when you finally admit you never actually use it. Meanwhile, your dog couldn’t care less because they’re probably too busy chasing their tail or barking at shadows more entertaining than your latest Insta purchase.
