i’m already tired of dropshipping

Trying to wrap my head around eBay dropshipping for 2025 is like opening a can of worms. Honestly, I might be allergic to this level of complexity. I mean, have you ever tried to follow one of those step-by-step guides? They’re either way too optimistic or written in some alien language. So, eBay is apparently the place to be, huh? Walking through virtual aisles of stuff you don’t need and don’t actually own until someone else pays for it. Genius or mad?

Anyway, here’s how it seems to work—or pretends to work. You pick a product, list it on eBay, and when someone buys it, you buy it from a supplier and have it shipped directly to the buyer. Or at least that’s the fairy tale version. Truth is, if you’re not careful, your ‘trusted’ supplier might send your customer a box of disappointment with a side of confusion because the actual product is MIA.

I stumbled upon this random stuff where people rant about their wins and epic fails. So much pressure to get it right. And then Amazon’s in the corner, laughing, because their dropshipping game looks different in their parallel universe.

Let’s not even start on eBay’s random policy changes or the algorithm that decides who gets to be king for a day. You basically need a master’s in e-commerce just to navigate the sea of listings and hidden fees. Oh, and don’t forget dealing with customer complaints like, ‘I ordered a toaster, and you sent me a hairdryer.’ How does one even begin to fix that puzzle?

Like, when does it all start to make sense? Maybe when robotic helpers start doing this stuff for us in that not-distant-enough future. Until then, let me just watch some more ironic success stories online. My eyes still hurt. I need coffee. Ugh.
